My name is Tammy Mangold. I was born in Jefferson  City, Missouri and grew up in St. Louis where I attended a Lutheran grade school.   After high school I attended the University of Missouri and Campus Lutheran church.  After college I became a member of Trinity.  So I’ve been around Columbia since the early 80’s.  I spent 30 years working in healthcare as a surgical technologist.  The last 16 years of that in charge of educational programs to train other health care providers.  I taught in the classroom, spent time in the hospital with my students and ran the program. My bachelor’s is in Biology and Chemistry and my masters is in Education with an emphasis on curriculum & instruction and administration. I have also done some substitute teaching in the public school system.    I enjoy gardening, sewing and sports.   I played soccer for nearly 30 years.  I am married and have one daughter.  She is in 3rd grade at GSLS. There are many new and exciting things to come from our students at GSLS. Please consider becoming a part of the GSLS family.
